Is there space for sunbathing?
Yes. The yacht offers ample sunbathing space, including very comfortable sun mattresses on the bow, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.
Are these destinations suitable for swimming and snorkeling?
Certainly. All our destinations feature crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
Snorkeling equipment and paddleboard are included free of charge during your charter.
Can I rent the boat without a skipper?
No. Islander is only available with a professional skipper, who is included in the price to ensure safety and a relaxed experience.

Is fuel included in the price?
Yes, fuel is included.
How long do we stay at each destination?
The time spent at each location depends on your preferences, sea conditions, and the type of charter booked. Your skipper will discuss the itinerary with you to ensure you have enough time to enjoy each stop.
Can I smoke on the boat?
Yes, smoking is allowed only outside, with caution, and once the boat is anchored.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
No security deposit is required. However, any damage caused to the boat or its equipment will be charged accordingly.
Is Islander a dog-friendly yacht?
Yes! We are happy to welcome your four-legged friends on board.
Please note that an additional cleaning fee applies.
Can I extend my charter duration on the day of the trip?
Yes, extensions are possible subject to availability. Please speak directly with your skipper on the day of your charter.
What destinations can we visit during the charter?
Our area of operation is Palma Bay. Depending on weather conditions and charter duration, we may stop at one or several locations.
Possible destinations include:

- Cala Blava
- El Delta
- Cala Vella
The final route will always be adapted to ensure the best experience.
How do I know which charter is right for me and my group?
We offer different charter options depending on how much time you’d like to spend at sea:
- Half Day Charter – 4 hours
- Sunset Charter – 2.5 hours
- Full Day Charter – 8 hours
If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help you choose the option that best suits your group and expectations.
Are the charters suitable for children?
Absolutely. Our charters are family-friendly and suitable for children of all ages.
Can we swim or snorkel during the charter?
Yes. Swimming stops are part of the experience, and snorkeling equipment is provided on board.
Can I take the helm and learn to sail?
Absolutely! Guests are welcome to take the helm and learn the basics of sailing under the guidance of our experienced skipper.
You can participate as much or as little as you like — it’s entirely up to you.
Is there a toilet on the boat?
Yes, the yacht is equipped with a manual pump toilet.
There are specific usage rules (no paper, no tampons, and always sit down). The captain will explain everything before use, and instructions must be followed.
Can we choose which destination to visit?
Yes. You can discuss your preferences with the skipper at the beginning of the charter. The final route will be suggested based on weather conditions and your group’s interests.
What should we bring on board?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, swimwear, and a towel.
If you are prone to seasickness, you may also wish to bring seasickness medication (please note that we are not permitted to administer medication on board).
Sunglasses, a hat, and a light cover-up are also recommended for comfort.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If weather conditions make navigation unsafe, the charter will be cancelled for safety reasons.
In this case, we will offer the option to reschedule for another date. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
Is food and drinks included?
Water and soft drinks are included in the charter.
Additional food and beverages can be pre-ordered as extras from our Meals & Drinks selection.
How many guests can the yacht accommodate?
The yacht can accommodate up to 9 guests.
Is there shade on board?
Yes. The yacht is equipped with a bimini, providing shade in the cockpit throughout the charter.
The sunbathing area is located on the bow, ideal for those who wish to enjoy the sun.
What is the cancellation policy?
A full refund is available for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance, applicable exclusively to charters operated with the sailing yacht Islander.
Charters booked on partner vessels are subject to their individual cancellation policies.
